Don’t just play tourist, take time to mingle with the locals! Learn the language! Find out about their culture. To Robert Szmiegel, getting lost is a benefit! It’s part of the journey! He does some of his best work outside the office! Taking a ride on a bike and when he came back to the office he came back with some great ideas!
This week's challenge: Create a travel vision board of at least five places you would like to live and work! Not just going there and hiding in a hotel, but actually going somewhere you can go and live. Pretend as if you’re one of the people the best you can while you’re there! Challenge yourself to think about what it would take to get there! Challenge #2: when you get there, say hello to people! You never know what will come from a simple hello.
